Yes, Palmy does give agricultural realness. But it’s also a special and inclusive space. We have support from our local MP, Tangi Utikere, NZ Police, Palmerston North City Council, our Economic Development Agency (CEDA), and local accommodation and hospitality providers.
It’s important to always be cautious when it comes to safety, but we have a great community of LGBTQIA+ folks and allies who come together to make Palmy Drag Fest as safe as possible.
